1-Bedroom Apartment Bellisimo AG by Amazing Property Rentals

I really liked the kitchen appliances, the balcony, and the great location of the property. And everything was super clean.

During my stay, there was a heat wave, so an AC was really necessary. There is an AC in the bedroom, but the remote control did not work at all. It then took me more than half an hour to figure out how to turn on the AC and there's absolutely no instructions at all on how the AC works (while there are many instructions and requirements on other things). I had no phone service there so I could not call the property management staff. So I texted them on booking app looking for help, however, I never heard from them. This would be the only drawback of my stay.

Great location, great value. Good sized appartment for 2 people and loved the provision of the washer/dryer (perfect when have been travelling around Canada for the past 1.5 weeks). Good size kitchen and living areas. Bed was comfy. Very happy with the apartment! Easy to get around - good bus routes and easy walk into city.

Washing machine did have towels in it from the previous occupants. They were clean and dry and the same as the towels in the apartment - so a small omission! Apartment did get hot in the afternoon.

Location was excellent for us. Downtown Ottawa is easily reached by car or on foot. You can also reach the ski resorts in Gatineau very quickly from there. Apartment 3 is very clean, spacious and quiet. Fully equipped kitchen if one wants to cook. Queen bed very comfortable.

Sofa bed was uncomfortable: only young children would be able to sleep without experiencing back pain afterwards. An uncomfortable pull-out bed seems to be a common problem in rental properties and hotels, though. Both TV remote controls did not work because batteries had not be changed in a while

The location is excellent. It is a short distance to Ottawa. Beautiful appartment with modern furniture. Communication with host was quick and efficient. The location looks better than the pictures...and the pictures were awesome.

Minor details, but there were no coffee pods as stated in the description. However, there is a corner store not too far where we were able to purchase some. The sofa bed did not have bed sheets. Only an extra blanket and two pillows were available (4 adults were renting the place: My stepdaughter and her boyfriend & my spouse and I....we used the sofa bed). Very slippery staircase. It would be nice to have a bit of salt on the porch so that the renters could add some if needed (My daughter's boyfriend slipped and hurt himself).

The apartment was clean and comfortable and very quiet at night. It was easy to find and felt safe and secure. The kitchen is full sized but missing a few items if you actually want to prepare food (ex. no can opener). The bed was super comfortable; there was no kitchen table but the kitchen counter bar is long with four chairs and very comfortable.

The sofa bed was not comfortable and the sheets were missing. When I contacted the host by email they were not helpful at all and refused to supply the sheets and an extra blanket (there were however 8 extra pillowcases supplied). I chose this apartment because it had two beds so it was very disappointing in that respect.

The apartment is beautifully laid out and decorated and it felt a bit like a home away from home. Its close to a bus stop and main street, and the neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful.

I was quite surprised that there wasn't even an extra bar of hand soap available. I think having even a body wash/shampoo dispenser in the shower or at least an extra bar of hand soap in the washroom would be good. It's just by chance I brought a bar of soap with me. Also, its great that there were coffee pods for the keurig, but there was no tea at all. That was very surprising, as its pretty standard.

The apartment was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed. It is in a good location for exploring Ottawa and Gatineau.

We were given the incorrect access code, but this was fixed quickly with a phone call. However, on the second day, the AC stopped working. I left a voicemail and a message on the booking.com portal, but never heard back. Also, the washing machine stopped working mid-cycle. We had to hand rinse our clothes in the bathtub instead; obviously, this was not what we expected to do during our vacation. That said, we would stay there again if these issues do not repeat themselves.
