Residenza Lago di Lugano

Our apartment was nice , great kitchen , aircon struggled but was very hot weather. Pool was good

Feels like an abandoned hotel . However host was very helpful

The mattress and 3 beds, the towels, the location, the apartment set up with small appliances the light in the apartment was good, the balcony, the pool the boat dock, the elevator. People who can tolerate camping in very hot and humid conditions will enjoy this property.

The air conditioning was not good and the top floor location of the apartment and concrete construction made it a hot box plus the western exposure. We gave the property 24 hours to fix the air conditioning and they did not, from 4pm checkin to 5pm the next day. Everything about the apartment was too hot and warm…even the common area skylight created a green house effect making matters worse. We moved to a very nice hotel down the road. People with a health condition or needing to keep medicine below 85 degrees should not stay here. We feel we lost two day and a lot of money staying here.

Expensive even for Lugano. The building is not well kept and gives off a bad vibe. Aircon is not really an aircon. Poor communication. We confirmed our arrival twice but still no one shared the check in procedure. No staff present at site, phone number on booking.com wasn't working. Horrible experience with three small kids. Booked a cot, which was confirmed at a cost, but it wasn't provided and no one cared to bring it to us despite being in contact with someone on whatsapp. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment which is really only one bedroom and a bed in the kitchen/living room.. the bedroom didn't have any window but some slides that opened up into the kitchen. Good for air, but bad for sound

The apartment was clean, comfortable, AC, & balcony. We also appreciated access to a stove top, microwave, & fridge to have food on hand for our children. We greatly enjoyed the balcony, pool, and green space! The pool with slide was what convinced us to book initially. There was also secure parking with plenty of space. Lastly, having a separate room with toys for our children was very thoughtful. Thank you!

The building & some of the outdoor space could use maintenance & updates. But this may not be under the control of the apartment owner. Also, communications with property manager were delayed upon arrival & had difficulty obtaining apartment key. Gratefully our dislikes were minimal & we ended up having a great stay with our children.
