Wohnung in Zermatt mit postkarten Matterhornblick

The view!!! Amazing, incredible view of the Matterhorn from the very large balcony. The appartement is lovely and extremely comfortable. There is even a bathtub. It was nicely decorated and beautiful. We loved it.

Like people said, it’s a little further out of town, but not that much. We didn’t care about the stairs, as we are all in good shape, but it might indeed be difficult for older, less fir people to get up and down the stairs. However, it wasn’t an issue for us at all.

It's in Zermatt and the price is not completely nuts. Everything was clean. It does the job of offering a place to sleep.

It's quite a walk from the ski lifts. Unclear explanations about the sleeping sofa. Sleeping sofa wasn't very comfortable.

The flat was big enough for our familiy of four with one staying home to work. The view of Matterhorn was really beautiful. It was quiet. Only 10 minutes walk from the Sunnegga lift. Reasonably equiped kitchen where we could cook dinner and prepare breakfast and lunch. Bathroom was clean and big with a bathtup. Some have complained about the stairs, and it's correct that there is a stare case down to the apartment (100 steps). The stair case is solid and wide, and of course it's a bit tough if you have to carry a big suit case down, or ski equipment. We rented equipement at the very friendly Flexrent and didn't have to carry it home.

Carpets were worn and a bit dirty. They should be replaced. Kitchen faucet was loose and the toaster not working. The sofa bed wasn't the best. It was big enough, and the mattress ok soft, but kind of uneven.

Nice Location and nice apartment..

Nice view as described from the apartment to the Matterhorn, nicely furnished and functional with all cutlery and cooking utensils available.

Long steep staircase to go to the apartment block from the main street where transportation stops, not practical, especially when raining or snowing, when you have luggage to go up an down to reach the apartment. Moreover the bathroom had a bathtub but the relative closing water tap was missing (voluntarily or not) it was not possible to take a relaxing bath.

View from one balcony was good.

Too many steps to climb and goes up & down. It's very difficult with big bags with a family. No lift available on site. It's not what we expected initially.
