Chalet Gerbera

We had an amazing stay at the chalet! the view from the balcony was exceptional, you can see the Eiger and Jungfraujoch through the Lauterbrunnen valley. Ruth was a great host as well, with prompt replies and making sure everything was alright. the chalet was clean with basic toiletries provided.

The walk to the chalet from the train station might not be the most convenient for groups with elderly, especially with luggages.

The apartment was very clean, it was well-furnished with all required amenities you need! It is also very nice located with great view from balcony over Lauterbrunnen and the mountain peaks, yet it's not too far located from the main station/supermarket. I really love the environment, just beside the apartment you will find a nice bank to sit and adoring the view. And if you have kids, there is nice, big playground very near the property (near Hotel Edelweis). The host (Frau / Mrs. Widmer) is a very nice person, even before our arrival the communication has been great with her. All in all, I do not have any complaints about the property, it really met my expectations (if not better), and also I think the price really worth it for Swiss standard. No need to look further, just book the place and you won't regret ;-)

the location was perfect - slightly tucked away from the town centre and with absolutely spectacular views from the balcony. Ruth and George were so lovely and provided us with everything we needed. The chalet itself was incredibly clean and comfortable. We were so sad to leave. Thank you for everything. We would also really recommend staying Wengen - although it seems remote (something we loved) the train connection down to Lauterbrunnen is frequent and reliable and you can even hike up and down if you fancy it. Wengen had everything we needed. It’s a paradise.

Beautiful, clean, well-equipped chalet apartment with glorious views of Jungfrau and Lauterbrunnen. We stayed in the 2-bedroom top-floor apartment of Chalet Gerbera - we would stay there again in a heartbeat! It had a fully equipped kitchen, with a full-size fridge, a dishwasher, and every kitchen utensil / amenity you can think of, including parchment paper, a pizza cutter, and an eggbeater - I was able to cook for my family as though I was at home. There are so many thoughtful little touches, including slippers, and a heated towel rack in the bathroom (which is nicer than our bathroom at home!). Everything was spotlessly clean and our host Ruth was so friendly and helpful! We basically just want to move in and live here permanently! 😀
