Geweldige locatie met een prachtige tuin vol vogels en kolibries. Hele fijne hosts. Goed uitgeruste keuken. Lekker veel ruimte.

Het tweepersoonsbed was erg hard. Daarom in het stapelbed geslapen met veem betere matrassen.

Had an amazing time here - the property is tucked away at the back of the town, surrounded by jungle and nature. We saw hummingbirds and iguanas and woke up to the call of howler monkeys. Lots of lovely touches in the room too - Gringo picked us up from the beach when our boat arrived and dropped us back when our stay was over. Highly recommend!

La propiedad es preciosa y está súper bien ubicada: lo suficientemente cerca del centro y de la playa como para ir caminando, pero a la vez lo bastante retirada para desconectarse y sentirse en plena naturaleza. Las cabinas están bien separadas entre sí, lo que permite mantener la privacidad. Durante nuestra estadía vimos más de seis especies de aves a solo un metro de nuestro balcón — fue algo realmente mágico. Las noches son muy tranquilas y el lugar es sumamente cómodo. La decoración interior, estilo vintage, está muy bien cuidada y con mucho gusto. Despertarse con el canto de los pájaros y los gritos de los monos aulladores es una experiencia 100 % tica. Si quieren vivir una experiencia auténtica con anfitriones ticos, este es el lugar ideal. Lo recomendamos al 100 %.

The host was amazing, he arranged everything for us, including the car park in Sierpe. He picked us up at the beach and took us to the house. The cabin was adequate for two people. There were not windows in the kitchen and bathroom, only nets, because the air is very wet there. The bedroom had windows and AC, which was very comfortable, the weather was quite hot. The rooms were very clean and nicely prepared for us, with fresh flowers, we really appreciated that. The kitchen was well equipped, we even found the device for preparing the traditional sock-brewed coffee, which we gladly used. The house was at a convenient distance to Drake Bay and other beaches. But even the garden itself was part of nature, we could see an agouti munching on food there.

We were very happy with everything except for the morning roosters but they are an indivisible part of Costa Rica rural areas, better to get used to them🙂

Super liebe und herzliche Gastgeber – wir haben uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt! Wir hatten das große Apartment mit einem traumhaften Ausblick. Besonders beeindruckend war die Natur direkt vor der Tür: Affen sind neben unserer Terrasse entlanggeklettert, wir haben viele verschiedene Vögel beobachtet – und sogar Agoutis gesehen. Einfach perfekt zum Entspannen und Natur genießen! Auf der Rückseite gibt es zusätzlich einen kleinen Balkon mit angenehm schattigem Platz, ideal für eine kleine Auszeit zwischendurch. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! 🌿

Die Zufahrt ist etwas steil, aber gut machbar.

We had the two bedroom bungalow which was really spacious, very well equipped and comfortable. We loved the verandah outside where we could sit quietly and watch the bird and animal life. Gringo helped us with transfers and tour bookings and is a very friendly, helpful host.
