Oltec Apartment Brno

Great apartment, spacious on a great location. The equipment is very nice.

A spacious well-equipped and modern apartment, spotlessly clean, located in a traditional block of flats within walking distance to the city centre, close to Starobrno brewery (open on Sunday night), tram hub and Mendel museum. Parking is in zone C, with a moderate fee during weekday nights (CZK 260 for a full night, 5 pm - 6 am), bookable via English website (free wifi in the apartment). The host was waiting for us outside the house and explained everything to us well. Knowing only a few words in Czech, we appreciated that communication was easy in English. Registration was taken care of in advance via online forms. We were welcomed with a large plate full of fruit and delicious home-made biscuits. The temperature in the flat was set just right to take the chill out of the windy autumn night. It is a ground-floor flat from the front, but the backyard is deeper so that the balcony makes sense (surely, nice in summer). The flat was perfect for the four of us, including my mother who uses a rollator to move around. It would be a pleasant place to stay for longer in (equally pleasant) Brno.

Not really a negative point, but just a little warning that road layout in the area is a little complicated so a good GPS device is recommended if you arrive by car.

The apartment had everything we needed (), even hair dryer, night light in the bathroom was a nice touch also. We stayed with our 2 year old daughter and we liked it's quiteness very much. The parking before the building is paid overnight, but the owner showed me on the first day where the parking is for free, it was 5 - 10 min. of walking depending on where I found the place, but even the possibility of free parking so close to the city center is really great. The owner takes care of his business very well :)

Super friendly host, would stay here again when visiting Brno. Even had a lovely homemade cake and fresh fruit for us on arrival. Was such a lovely place to stay, would highly recommend

Jakub and his mother are fantastic hosts. We had a long journey from Canada and we arrived to a clean apartment, with a table full of fruit, and a beautiful home baked cake. The apartment is fully equipped, there is nothing that you will need. The apartment is modern, comfortable, and most importantly quiet. It's close to trams, or you can go for a short walk to the city center. There is a grocery store down the street that has plenty of options and cheap beer. Jakub's mother even gave a ride to our long term rental. Some of the nicest people I have met. Thank you for an extremely pleasant stay!

Clean, well equipped with nice owners. It's in a quiet street so you can sleep well.

No air-conditioning but that was known on booking so no surprises.
