Old Town - Lai Apartment

Everything was as expected and we clearly received all the information we needed to get settled.

The sauna did not heat up above 50 degrees. There is also a lot of empty, unfurnished space in the apartment, so it would be nice if it could be better utilized, for example with some extra chairs or a sofa.

The location was excellent! The size and layout of the apartment was very good. It's had a lovely ambience and had everything we needed. We loved our time here. Thank you.

The kick plates in the kitchen do need to fitted better as they kept falling over. A tumble dryer would have been an added bonus.

Everything was better than expected. Easy and lovely to communicate with owner, private access in a really nice area of old town. The apartment had everything we needed, the kitchen was a dream. Sauna was perfect. Would love to revisit and stay there again.

The location is really convenient, right in the historical centre. It is very easy to access with keys. The apartment itself is very spacious, clean and well equipped. What is more, the sauna is the best thing to have in an apartment.

Only a detail, some handels look like they will fall out soon and one of the two bathrooms looks a bit older.

Very central location in Tallinn old town, walking distance to all the attractions. It was great to have a private sauna in the apartment. Dany was very responsive and we had some issues in the downstairs bathroom, which he got an electrical to come 2 times and got it fixed quickly.

I saw a post in July 2024 regarding the broken toilet seat in the downstairs bathroom and when we visited in Sep 2024, it was still broken. Dany (the owner) said he is still waiting for the parts to come from the UK but I think it’s a bit strange that a toilet seat needs 2 plus months to be replaced. The whole apartment is huge but there’s essentially only 2 rooms - downstairs and loft (no doors on the stairs so can’t be closed off privately). We were a family of 4 so it was fine for us but I would not recommend for more than 5 people.
