Was quite tricky to find the location - Apple Maps took us to the wrong place and we had to ask directions.

Vilaflor is a great place to get away from all the tourists and summer heat by the sea side. Close to the hills and most hike areas. I's also 1.6km high so you'll get used to thinner air in the mountains. Has all the required facilities, nothing is broken, all is tidy.

No insulation, would not recommend for the winter season as you'll need all the provided heaters.

I was 4 weeks hiking on the islands Gran Canaria, El Hierro, Lanzarote and Tenerife. I liked the apartment El Mirador best of the 4 on this holiday. The village Vilaflor at 1400 m is very well located for hiking in the mountains. The view from the balcony is beautiful and gives a feeling of freedom. I can highly recommend the apartment El Mirador.

Great location with fantastic views, clean apartment. Comfortable bed and comfortable chairs.Plenty of hot water reasonable shower good clean bathroom.. Very quiet location far from the maddening crowd. Great location for exploring South Side of Teide national Park. Two gas hobs, microwave, fridge,electric kettle and pans make it possible to prepare food. However plenty of options for eating out locally. Close enough to Vilaflor to be able.to use facilities 5 minutes in car or 15 minute steep walk down but far enough away to get peace and quiet. GR 131 walking route passes property so walking from the front door. Small church just above property with large outdoor area.

One room for kitchen, sitting and bed. A lot of keys for getting into property and security cameras. Over looks main road up to Teide from the south so a bit of road noise with the quad bikes and coaches going up and down but most of the time the road is very quiet and at night pretty much silent.
