El Mirador

Lovely studio with amazing views. The balcony has sun in the morning, perfect for a breakfast with views of the mountains, village, and sea. Beautiful garden with many spots to sit, you can always find a sunny spot. Great place for hiking, the bus stop to the El Teide National Park is a 10-minute walk. Smooth communication and nice local tips from Michael.

Can’t think of anything apart from that more than 3 towels for 5 days/2 persons would be nice. We were a bit confused about the instructions for arrival; note that the lock on the gated door on the front door is not locked itself.

Awsome host, he was very kind to us. The balcony, the view was superb. Great location.

The heater was making a clicking sound during night. But we could use air conditioning instead of the heater so the problem was solved.

Great location and view from the balcony. Host provided lots of useful information before arrival and helped us out when we were there. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable stay. Vilaflor is a lovely town.

No extractor fan in bathroom.

perfect place for trekking in mountains, splendid view and the friendliest host couple you can imagine :) they helped us with everything and even took us by car to the starting point of volcano Teide track. nice apartment and equiped kitchen, everything OK. And there is an excellent pizzeria in the city - Pozzeria Casino

nothing :) just be prepared for lower temperature as it is in the mountains and not at the sea level

Exceptional hospitality by Michael & Linda. One day Michael drove us to the Teide hiking starting point. Another day he and his partner arranged curry for us. And the last day he brought us to the cost for catching our ferry! Thank you very much Michael & Linda, double kudos to you!!

- Great host and beautiful view from balcony :) - Spacious room. The big "+" is the kitchen with all you need, including microwave oven and a fridge - Electric heater for colder nights - No problem to park rented car in front of the gate - Vilaflor is a quiet town located ~1500m above ocean level - It is the perfect location for people who wants to explore hike trails near Teide (20-30min by car) and are less interested in lazy sunbatching on a beach - In the town there is a fuel station

What's below was not an issue for us, however consider this as a tip: -Due to high altitude location Vilaflor sometimes can be cold. Electric heater was very helpfull during first two nights. Later days were very hot -Restaurants & small markets can be closed early. I recommend to do food shoping in a bigger market like Lidl and store your food supplies in the room's kitchen.
