Apartamentos FV Flats Valencia - San Felipe Neri

The apartment was spacious and very comfortable for a longer stay. The bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of wardrobe space for clothes. The kitchen was well designed, with a large cooktop, an oven, and enough counter space for preparing meals. The neighborhood was quiet at night, making it easy to get a good night's sleep. Right in front of the building there was a good grocery store and a market hall. I also enjoyed the small square nearby with public bike rental, which was always lively and offered a nice opportunity to observe local daily life. The apartment was easily accessible by elevator, and the loggia provided a convenient space for doing laundry. The public transpport stops were 5-7 min walk.

The kitchen equipment could be improved. There were no bowls for breakfast cereal, no oven mitt, and only two pots available – a tiny one and one very large – although there were frying pans. Coffee capsules were not provided, so guests need to buy their own from the start. It would have been nice to have a few complimentary capsules upon arrival. The apartment door was also a bit unusual, and it took me some time to figure out how to use it properly.The bathroom ventilation was somewhat weak.

Für das Reisen mit unseren Kindern war das optimal. Kinderbetten wurden uns gestellt und auch bei Problemen war sofort jemand erreichbar. Wir sind rund um zufrieden.

The location

The apartment does not match the listing and is in poor condition. Upon arrival, it looked completely different from the photos — to the point where we initially thought we were in the wrong place. The overall standard was far below what was advertised: Rusty and damaged fridge Mold in one of the bathrooms Bathroom radiators rusty and peeling Furniture worn out, mismatched, and in some cases swollen from humidity One broken chair in the living room Other chairs visibly dirty No carpets, despite the space clearly being presented differently Persistent unpleasant smell throughout the apartment We contacted the host immediately. They acknowledged some of the issues but insisted the apartment was “livable” and only offered minimal fixes (possibly replacing the fridge and a vague discount). A request to move to a different apartment was refused. After involving Booking.com, the situation deteriorated further. The reservation was canceled without a proper alternative being secured, and the support process was poorly handled. We were ultimately forced to rebook directly with the same host under pressure, losing Booking benefits and receiving no real compensation. None of the reported issues were properly resolved during our stay. Overall, this was a disappointing experience. The property is misrepresented, poorly maintained, and the resolution process — both from the host and Booking.com — was inadequate. I would not recommend this property.
