The host is very friendly and helpful with the cleaning request as I stayed for a bit longer. The apartment is at a good location, well equipped and clean

The app can be a bit confusing to use in the beginning, but it works okay after you get used to it It was a bit cold in the winter, despite setting the temperature in the room

Clean, comfortable and convenient apartment. It had everything we needed for the couple days in Madrid. We were able to check in early and drop off our luggage.

The electronic remote lock system made me a bit anxious. It worked fine but I was concerned for when the power is out. It did not look like there was an override option to exit the apartment in case of an emergency and there was no electricity.

The apartment was modern, spacious, bright and clean and the large bed was very comfortable. The air con was welcomed in the warm weather. We really liked the location of the property as it was a short walk to the train and metro and across from two beautiful parks.

While the location was very good we felt that the property was very expensive for what it was. There were no added extras (eg. tea/coffee/area maps) that we have experienced in a lot of other stays. The shower controls were difficult and we did not like the automatic key system - it was not seamless. While the host was helpful it was very impersonal to the type of stay that we would have expected for the cost.

Clean apartment, blackout windows

Owner makes you checkin with an electronic key that requires data and does not work. It is a poor way to have visitors checkin. It requires them to have international high speed data and even then it really works. To their credit, I was given a physical key but this wouldn’t work on the second apartment building door; for some reason, it was jammed and would require multiple attempts. I would have to spend 5-10 min always trying to open the apartment doors. Furthermore, I complained that the shower doesn’t work well because water would not come out of the top shower head. I was informed to push a button and twist a knob on a deconstructed device that looks like it needs to be replaced. It still didn’t work. I gave up on asking this owner questions because the feedback wasn’t useful and just used the handheld shower to wash myself. I think there are better deals out there. But I also just find that customer service is better on airbnb than booking.com for some reason

Only one thing i woukd mention is that could do with comfier pillows or choice as very hard.

Nice layout, comfortable for a couple. Easy access with internet locking system. Modern and clean. No noise. Good location close to Royal Palace.

No condiments in the kitchen - not even salt, no coffee either. Only one dishwasher tablet for 4 day stay. A bottle of water in the fridge would have been appreciated but maybe that’s not expected in Spain.
