The host was very flexible when our fight was delayed and we had to arrange to collect the keys. However, after we arrived in the apartment, he was not very responsive. There was a dump/sewage smell in the bathroom which was really annoying and we couldn't sleep properly because of the smell. When we asked to the host about potential solutions, they didn't reply at all, which is very frustrating after all the money you pay.

Modern apartment, good location, clean, complete appliances at the kitchen. The person who clean the property, give the keys and then receive the apartment is very kind

The apartment host didn’t answer the calls, neither sent the indication through email. I think his name is Javier and he has a terrible way to approach to customers. It is a pity that you have a bad expirience because of the host even with a good place.

* The apartment is very uncomfortable - solid white color and strong white lamps - resemble a hospital room * The balcony (from which I rented this apartment) is about 30 cm wide, i.e. the balcony is simply not there * Don’t even hope to open the windows from the evening to the morning - the noise is right under the windows all night * Steep stairs to the 3rd floor - forget about this apartment if you need to carry heavy suitcases * The stairs room looks very unattractive * Mistress does not speak word in English

Bathroom door doesn’t work properly

Once inside the apartment, it has all the facilities as advertised. It is VERY spacious, too. Close to restaurants, convenience store, barbershop, metro station. It is a block away from the main Gran Via. The location and facilities is perfect, if you travel light.

It is located on the 4th storey of the building. There is no elevator. In Spain, they start the ground floor as zero (0) followed by 1st, 2nd, then 3rd floor. Which is actually the 4th floor. It has no lift, and there are sixty (60) steps upwards before your door to the apartment. We have 3 sets of 23kg luggage and I sprained my back muscle carrying our stuff from the ground to the 4th floor. The street is lined with bars so expect a bit of crowd noise. I wake up early anyway so 4AM noise is no issue to me.

Good area in chueca, the apartment is very centrally located. Double bed was big enough and pleasant.

The entrance area needs urgent renovations. The apartment is in the 3. floor and there’s no elevator very exhausting with suitcases. No curtains which means no intimacy in the living room nor in the bathroom. Check out is at 11 without possibility of late check out. To store the suitcases the only option is to drop them off downstairs in the hotel nearby for 3 euros per suitcase

The apartment is new, bright and in a great location. Of course, the entrance of the building is something completely different but we were aware since we read the other reviews. The lady who gave us the keys was really kind and helpful.

They should fix the doors of the bathroom and the bedroom: they are out of frame and the one in the bathroom really scraps the door and it is hard to close. They should also put a curtain or something to block the light in the living room.
