definitely in need of some touching up. lots of doors needing painting at the bottom just a general paint would really benefit the property

The location of the apartment was superb, just as indicated. In that sense it was exactly what we needed with a toddler in our party as it was just next to the beach.

The apartment was in a poorer state of repair than the photos - and the price - would suggest. Small things, but they all added up: one of the balcony doors was broken and not possible to open, the pillows were clearly old and somewhat stained, the dishwasher draw was partially broken so, while it could be used, it wasn't in full working order, the kickboards in the kitchen were missing, etc. To be fair, the host company repaired the balcony door the day following our reporting it, and were responsive generally. But overall we felt that for an expensive/ premium apartment, the space was somewhat scruffier and a lower standard than we expected. It just needs a full redecoration, some maintenance of the doors and kitchen units, and some new bedding to be much better.
