York Luxury Apartments, Bishopthorpe Rd

Everything - the apartments were brilliant modern, spotlessly clean and close enough to city centre - no complaints at all. I made one phone call re where to park and was given details regarding this from helpful call handler who advised of places and amenities in the locality !

Nothing in relation to the stay only I did not get my 10% cash back via booking.com and cannot get an email address or process to complete this so very disappointed by this!

Cozy apartment with good facilities for a conformable stay. We always favour washing machines/ dishwasher in our selection of accommodation. Two bedrooms and two bathroom is always a good score for our family. It's not in the centre York. but conveniently located to be able to walk to town centre.

The rubbish bins are literally outside the bedroom's window which in itself has the back street view, nothing fancy. For some, the stairs can be inconvenient especially if travelling with elderly and/or very young children. There are a couple of cafes' and restaurants and a small super-market in the nearby which makes it convenient. It made it overall a pleasant stay a bit pricey.

Everything was spotless and like they show in the photos, they had everything that we needed and we were so happy to see coffees and teas when we got there, over all a very nice stay. If we are ever in York we would defo stay again

This has nothing to do with the property but we didn’t realise that there was a late night bar underneath the apartment and was a bit a pain one of the nights but overall still a very positive stay

Very clean and spacious apartment. Bright and airy. Everything worked very well. It was a great location, close to everything we wanted to see as well as only a short walk from the train station. And the staff was very responsive when we had an issue with wet carpets after a window had been left open before we checked in.

The beds were a little harder than we are used to.

The noise from the road.The window in the living room was partly open and could not be fully shut which allowed the traffic noise and noise from the local shops/restaurants to be heard in the living room of the apartment.In addition the vent in the velux window in the upstairs bedroom was open and could not be shut allowing the noise from the traffic and local restaurants to be heard whilst trying to get to sleep. The head height in the front upstairs bedroom caused difficulties when standing up underneath the velux window. There were no oven gloves which made getting hot food out of the oven difficult.

Fanatastic location, close to the old city and all sightseeing options, easy walking distance to town.

We liked the apartment a lot. Clean, modern and everything work well.

Not in the town center. Bring enough clothes if it’s cold. You might have to walk 15-20 minutes if you want to go to the city center.
