Location and view were perfect for Glasgow City Centre. Really nice bright spacious apartment

There was a lack of kitchen equipment to cook with but enough to make do.

"Deposit dilemma!!"

The location was very good. Short walk to the subway and into the town centre. The apartment was spacious and on first viewing an excellent facility. The entrance was via a coded/locked door and there was a janitor on call 24 hours, making the apartment secure and safe

I didn't like that there was no personal contact. We were messaged to say that someone would meet us at the apartment but they didn't and all communication was done by text. This would have been ok if there hadn't been £250 taken out of our account for damages. Until we got into the apartment and upon inspection it was impossible to see what damage there was and to actually prove that we hadn't caused it. The settee was ripped and one of the seats broken, making it uncomfortable. There was damage to the coffee table, skirting boards, plaster and various cups, glasses and plates missing - so not a full set for four people to use. The tv didn't work in any of the rooms. They were not linked to the network. The bedside lamps didn't work and there was no plug in the bath, so that couldn't be used. Some of the blinds were damaged and broken in all of the rooms. It was very noisy at nighttime with the windows open. The £250 was debited from our account, rather than pending until we checked out. I don't understand this system as it said it would take 14 days to re-credit the account. I have never experienced this in all my years of travel and it was a concern and would put me off booking again.

"big and comfortable flat with nice view, clean and near to all facilities"

noise in the boiling room every time we use the water, difficulties with the flash in the small bathroom. sofas needs to be repaired. lift didnt work always and we had to step down nine floors

I like that the place was just 10 minutes from the train/bus station, groceries and food options were also available within walking distance. The place was very spacious and had the necessary facilities and more. It was very comfortable to have 2 bathrooms as well.

The cleaning could definitely be improved. The bed sheets had old stains, probably no washed properly. The washing machine hat a lot of fluffs around. There was no dishwasher powder and some dishes felt dirty. Plus, we saw a small mouse in our first day, which moved from our living room to the kitchen. One of the beds has a water mattress (unspecified in the description) which is very uncomfortable for some people. The check in was also inconvenient. First, it is not announced that they request a security deposit in advance, we learn that later after reading other reviews. We arrived on a Sunday and the numbers provided to arrange our arrival were unresponsive, it took us a while to contact the host and clarify the instructions with the frontman who claimed that we did not have the correct information. Although we send the requested deposit, during our call they first said they did not received, just to "check again" upon our insistence and find that indeed it was paid. Later we were trying to contact the manager for our mouse issue during the first night but we did not receive any response until next day when they said they will send a contractor, but did not updated us on that until another day passed. They did refund us one day, but it was very inconvenient to wait so long to get a response.

"nicely located, terrible service if things go wrong."

good view, big size of apartment, location very central,

on a 2 night stay - service terrible re many problems we faced. ie hot water broke so had cold wash including hair in the sink, one of the toilets would not flush, heating would not work, then was on all the time on full, controls were set to italian so impossible to use, TV had 4 channels when we arrived and 8 when it had been fixed. There was no information pack in the flat to assist with any of these issues. There were delays in fixing it, poor communication. When we complained - absolute silence. No acceptance of problems, no apology, no compensation. The flat is beautifully situated by furniture is shoddy eg tears in sofa, many marks all over coffee table etc.
