Bright Plymouth Hoe Hideaway

A lovely clean spacious apartment in a great location. Quiet street and no noise from other flats. Had everything you needed. Great value for money.We enjoyed our stay very much thank you.Would stay here again next time in Plymouth

On street parking expensive but a helpful neighbour directed us to Brunel car park a few minutes away using Ringo app was only £6.55 for 24 hours.

Close to everything

Needs a good clean and decorating we turned up and had to call Lewis as the oven was filthy and the oven trays Pots and pans cupboards actually the kitchen was very bad but he did buy new stuff which was much appreciated needs to have more crockery only 3 plates 2 tumbler glasses very minimal our family came over and no one could have a drink had to use the mugs for beer the bedroom was very nice the bed was lovely it was a shame really it could be a nice place to stay just needs money put into it. Also for our troubles he did reimburse 1 nights money back

The location is amazing and the bed is comfy

The property was not clean when we arrived, dust all over the mirror etc, broken dirty old side tables in the living room, they left us an empty plastic soap dispensers in the toilet?, only left 2 stainless steel scouters to wash dishes with, with the tiniest bit of washing up liquid left in the bottle, the balcony furniture is rusty and falling apart. Dirty water marks on the ceiling. No coffee capsules left for the coffee machine, which yous did leave last time. All in all it really needs a good up do/make over. The first time we came a few years ago it was lovely and clean but we were so disappointed when we arrived this time.

The kitchen - we chose the property as it had a fridge as we needed to put the fresh dog food in there. Dog friendly - the other main reason we chose the property.

The electrics tripped out while we were sleeping. We had no idea that this had happened as the RCD looked normal when we checked. I notified the owner through Booking.com around 6am. One weird thing is that the thermostat and microwave still has power but the rest of the flat had nothing. My husband was able to have a shower in the dark. I rely on an electric heat pad for pain relief so was in pain for the rest of the day as I couldn’t use it in the morning. The owner later called me. He said it was the RCD and that I should’ve called him but I didn’t have a contact number for him and it was 6am that we realised the situation. We left as soon as we could as we wanted to get coffee from somewhere (couldn’t use the kettle in the flat) so drove into Plymouth. The area is around half a mile walk from town and the pavements and the flat are not wheelchair friendly. The issue was therefore not resolved before we left the flat. The flat is not wheelchair friendly due to large steps outside the front of the building. The fact that it is a ground floor flat is therefore misleading. There was a weird smell, some of the surfaces felt sticky and it could’ve done with a more thorough clean.

Very spacious and well equipped flat with nice furnishings. Clear instructions prior to arrival made it easy to find and let ourselves in via lockbox plus free parking just a 2min walk away. Very centrally located not far from the Barbican. Lewis was very helpful leading up to and during our stay. Highly recommend.

Great location for the town and the Hoe .

A terrace was advertised but was so dirty and slippery it wasn’t usable . Owner said hadn’t had chance to clean it yet or put new furniture out due to weather conditions. Also heating stopped working after sat night.
