Amazing views

Peace and quiet of the secluded area. Great to be out of the way and the location was very private. Friendly owner and it was very easy to find overall.. The views were spectacular!

Self catering

No light in bathroom for shaving, bedroom radiator we couldn’t get to work, TV poor and confusing minimal choice of stations and small screen.

Very close to Hay on Wye. Kitchen equipment worked well. WiFi excellent. Very clean. Parking available.

Freezing at night as it is a corrugated iron barn with zero insulation. The only way to keep warm (even in June) is by having the heating on all night which goes against ethics regarding burning of fossil fuels. Cheap spring mattresses and duvets too thin for the cold nights Towels were appalling - only fit for rubbing down a wet dog! Bathroom door didn't shut and no lock. No views as Barn End is literally the other end of the barn near the owners farm surrounded by the farmhouse, farm buildings and a hedge. Very small windows. Loose toilet seat and broken mirror. Too many pictures of fish. Fitted out with an eclectic mixture of stuff presumably discarded by the owners. Small filter coffee pot only - bring your own coffee making equipment.
