I stayed in Braeburn over the weekend of the 21st to 23rd November 2025 If I could give this rating zero review stars, I would do. On the Friday afternoon (21st) when we arrived it was already 0°C outside and both Braeburn and the apartment next door, Russet which both have storage heaters, had pretty much put out the heat from storing overnight. There were two additional heaters that plugged into the wall in Braeburn which neither worked. I called the number given on the booking form which was to the owner Michael Culhane (the booking form ironically says ‘If you have any queries, please call 07833 510032’) and left a voice message explaining that it was below freezing out and neither of the heaters worked and the house was very cold (just like so many other reviewers - he doesn’t respond) so I also sent a text explaining the dire situation and how cold it was in the house – did he respond? No - Did he do anything over the whole weekend ? No. Having spent a freezing night in the apartment and having to wear my clothes to sleep in bed and was still frozen, I sent him a text at 8:45am on the Saturday morning via WhatsApp again asking for a heater that worked and explaining that neither of them were functional in the house and it was freezing. In WhatsApp, you can see if your messages have been read and he had read it – did he respond? Of course not - HE NEVER DOES - Did he do anything? Of course not - he never does. My friend also had the same experience in the apartment next door. These apartments are not fit for purpose over the winter monthsand should be removed off any booking sites. Their owner Michael Culhane is a disgrace taking £270 for two nights when he doesn’t respond to significant messages like mine nor do anything about what’s been requested. They even live on site and were there during the whole weekend as you can see them in the property too. He doesn’t act when something is significant like there’s no heating in the property and -3C outside

Everything was there for a comfortable stay. Easy parking. Felt safe

The location was perfect
