Perfect location for our visit to Saltburn folk festival. Spacious accommodation. We'll equipped.

Lots of stairs. But we coped.

There was peeling paint on the bathroom wall and scuffed skirting boards. There were only 4 coat hangers between 4 ppl and three were broken. The freezer didn’t work it needs defrosting so items we’d bought were ruined but the worst was there was no staircase lighting in the property. We were on the top floor and the staircase was dark on an evening which is a health and safety hazard.

Lovely view and easy access to town and beach. Flat had all facilities that you would need and was nice and bright.

Light on staircase not working so had to use torch on phone. Faulty window pane so condensation spoilt the view. We could hear noise from neighbours upstairs.

The apartment was spacious, modern, and well appointed. The large TV was a plus. Communication from Host & Stay was good.

Upgraded to a flat with supposedly a better view, but the old double glazing in the living room had failed with condensation obscuring the view (with venetian blinds obscuring the failed windows). The windows were also dirty inside and out. Paid our deposit, then was asked to pay the outstanding balance within 48hrs (£1400 in total) more than a year before our holiday. No hospitality, stayed in apartments just as nice for half the price in Whitby and received a welcome pack on arrival (e.g. wine and chocolates). Not a sausage in this case.

We adored the location with the spectacular views & the modern vibes of the apartment inside & the charming character of the building outside. Sunsets & sunrises that we caught where pretty special.

Would have liked to have had towel rails or hooks in the bathroom. We couldn’t control the heating. It seemed permanently on. The thermostat had no batteries and its screen was blank.

We wanted a place with a view over the sea and this was spectacular. the living room and the smaller bedroom both having a window. There's lots of comfy seating, a round table and a breakfast bar. The main bedroom has a wonderfully comfortable bed.

Although the second bedroom has the fantastic sea view, the bed wasn't as comfortable. It was difficult to regulate the temperature in the shower and another minor niggle, there was nowhere to put the toilet roll!
