Good Times Edinburgh Elm Row City Centre Apartment

Lovely stylish boutiquey apartment. There's no sitting room or TV , but we didn't really want to be sitting around watching stuff anyway and the telly detox was good. Had breakfast sitting in the little kitchen. Loved the bathroom's style with walk-in shower and courtesy after-shower slippers. The location is great for Edinburgh where you can walk everywhere. We went to see Sparks at the playhouse - the reason for our visit. They were really good ❤️

The parking was available but expensive. Needed renewing every 4 hours. Download the Ringo App to find out. As it turned out, our car broke down and it spent most of the time in a small garage just round the corner where a very helpful mechanic did some welding.

Great central location. Clean and comfortable apartment.

They did not even know when you arrive and even check in is at 16:00, I waited 1.5 hours for check in. Never recommend to anyone

I liked the classic old stone apartment which was a little cool but not cold. Nice and roomy and it was great to have a little kitchen even if there was only 2 of everything (except only 1 mug - owner said the last tenant broke one but he didn’t replace it never mind we used a glass) and only one deep frypan - again we made do. For some strange reason the washing machine is locked and cannot be used. However , we loved it and it is handy to town and public transport.

I guess it was a bit on the cold side could do with 2 degrees more heat. Some more utensils and pots would be good and unlock the washing machine or get rid of it.

The apartment is conveniently located within the city with Waverly Train Station less than 20mins away on foot, the Edinburgh Playhouse within a 10min walk and Calton Hill a similar distance. The apartment was clean, cosy and add all the facilities you'd require for a short or longer stay such as fully fitted kitchen with utensils.

This is less of a criticism and more a suggestion - it would have been handy to have had a full length mirror somewhere in the apartment. A shelf of some sort would also have been helpful in the bathroom to store the items from my toiletries bag.
