cannot use wash machine; cannot pay damage deposit through booking.

Location is perfect, bed was super comfortable, having a kitchen area is always a bonus. Seems very clean and the decor is nicely done.

The smell of drains was disgusting and I came close to changing accommodation after the first night. The main overhead shower was broken so you could only use the smaller one. The shower curtain ring is so low I banged my head every time I walked into the loo, I’m 6’1 so not a giant. There is no TV, when I asked about this they replied with ‘it’s not listed with a TV’ which is true but it’s an item you expect to be there like loo roll or pillows. The worst thing is it’s advertised as an entire apartment, it’s not or rather it is but you don’t get the lounge which is locked you only get the bedroom and very small kitchen, the two chairs in the bedroom do not make up for this. I stay away three or four days a month and always try to choose independent accommodation many of which I return to on a regular basis, I won’t be going back here unless there’s a lounge a TV and they get rid of the smell. Shame.

Location is excellent.

Damage deposit policy is very cumbersome. The refund was not the same as the paid deposit. The ownership of the apartment is non-transparent and therefore suspicious.

Really nice decoration, convenient location for middle of Edinburgh and Leith. Really helpful host gave lots of information about what and what not to see. Apartment has all you need for a short stay.

Clean and comfy flat, good location. Overall, is pretty great!

This space is lovely inside, tastefully decorated and well thought out use of the small spaces in the bathroom and kitchen. large comfy bedroom. easy walking distance to facilities and the centre of Edinburgh. good value compared to other city centre rentals.

Did not like having to pay a £200 deposit, that 5 days later still has not been returned?! No on site parking , the parking is currently £3.10 per hour and a max stay of 4 hours during the day hours. We had to leave our car in payable parking elsewhere for the duration of our stay . Most of the kitchen cupboards are locked, most of the bedroom wardrobes are locked, even the washing machine has a lock on it?! We felt this was un necessary, and it felt unwelcoming. For that reason we would not stay here again.
