"Ideal location if you want everything within walking distance"

10.0

We received a message with access details prior to arrival. This was our second stay at the property and would go again. The car park is a 5 minute walk, not too expensive considering we was there for 3 days although the app didn't work. There is a Morrison's within a 2 minute walk, a pub directly across the road which did reasonably priced food an drink. The shops/bars/restaurant's are all within a short walking distance. The train station is approx. a 10 minute walk with access to various places, we used the train for Lincoln and Nottingham for a different day out. The flat had 2 bedrooms both with double beds, large bathroom with a shower, living with a settee with plenty of room, a kitchen with all amenities' and a table to sit down at.

The location right in Newark (I sorted nearby parking myself). Beautiful inside and everything we needed. Key collection was easy and we got great communications.

The low doors. My wife was OK but I hit my head a few times.

"Great cottage in Newark."

9.0

Quirky, comfortable property, perfectly located in the centre of Newark.

A washing machine would have been useful.

"Old World fun in a great position"

10.0

Fantastic hidden corners and weird little dead ends. Great for children probably 5 and up. Big kitchen with everything and a large shower room. Spiral stairs are fun. Bang in the town centre. Handy for pubs and eating out. We went for a family wedding and it's a 3 minute walk to the castle and registry office. Would definitely stay there again. We contacted the manager and she is very efficient and helpful.

There is no parking but we downloaded a parking app and parked at the local Asda for a very reasonable amount. It's a 5 minute walk through the market. Apparently my 6 foot odd son had to lean to the right to use the toilet, but it's old, so sloped and low ceilings are a thing. I personally had no issues.

"I was after a hike from home in a historical property in a nice part of England. This delivered on all counts and more."

10.0

It’s a beautiful old building with some local history. It’s spacious and comfortable and very homely. I wanted to move in! I loved the layout and beautiful beams.”

The internet connection wasn’t always solid everywhere in the property and the shower water pressure wasn’t very strong.
