Higher Brockwell Annexe

Location was perfect with nature literally on the door step and with Minehead a 10 minute drive it was well situated. Annexe was cosey and clean perfect get away stay I must say.

Nothing to thing of

Spotlessly clean and plenty of space. We were a little worried because it is attached to the main house but we had a totally separate entrance and it was totally private, the host had thought of everything you need to make life comfortable.

Cosy and comfortable annex in quiet rural location. Host was very flexible and understanding about changes to our requirements after we made the booking.

Water supply failure was inconvenient even though relatively brief - we were on-hold for an hour or two in the middle of a short break because we all needed showers, a cup of tea etc. after strenuous walk before going out for a meal.

Amazing setting, out in the country with footpaths right along side - including one to Dunkery Beacon. Accommodation is bigger than photos suggested. A real escape

We liked it all and the only reason it isn't a 10 is we are fussy sleepers and found bed hard - probably suit most people and we'd have liked more generous, comfortable seating as we stayed a week.

Property was super comfortable with all the facilities we needed. Alison was a lovely host and gave us some great tips on what to see and do.

You would have difficulty in finding the property by yourself but Alison gave us very good clear instructions. It was a little tricky carrying bags down the steps into the property. Suggest Alison give some of the plants a trim to make it easier - especially for us older visitors.
