Higher Brockwell Annexe

All new and clean furnishings. Good facilities all round. Friendly host. Nice flowers. Security high.

We could hear some noises from next door, so we just got up at the same time for ease.

Excellent location in the National Park. Very well appointed property surrounded by flowering plants and forest.

Alison and her family were the perfect hosts with the most beautiful property . This really is a home from home , Alison has thought of everything from homemade jam,bread,milk ,tea,coffee,sugar etc. Egg cups to a very well stocked kitchen of untensils and pans, dishwasher, washing machine . The property is a perfect location for any type of holiday, you can walk straight out of the gate onto Exmoor or a short drive to local towns. The whole property is a wildlife haven with birds to woodpeckers and owls. There is a lovely outside courtyard to relax when you have finished exploring,so peaceful and tranquil. Then to finish it off there is a lovely bath with shower and the most comfortable bed to rest. The hosts and the Property are a perfect ten. Thank you Alison and family we will be back next year.

Nothing to dislike

The annexe was immaculate, everything you needed was available. complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, bread, milk and jams a nice surprise. comfortable bed, lovely bathroom. great accommodation.

The property was a little remote but this would not put us off from returning. The outside lights were very sensitive and kept coming on and off all night.

Location. The property is clean and tidy. The host left milk, bread, tea and coffee for us which was lovely.

Remote but central Exmoor location, not too easy to find without satnav.

Dogs barking early morning and late evening otherwise all good.

The property was beautiful and in such a nice setting! It was nice to feel like you were completely in your own place too.

Couldn’t really fault anything to be honest, initially thought we could’ve done with a TV but in the end we didn’t even think about it!
