The Byre (Unusual and Different).

We just love staying at the Byre, it’s a perfect escape from busy life! Welcoming, cosy, spotless and simply an entirely beautiful space to wind down. Linn & Stewart are amazing hosts, so friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble and they really go the extra mile for guests.

That we couldn’t stay longer on this occasion! There is nothing not to like about the Byre!

What a gem this house is ! We’ve stayed in accommodation all over Ireland and this one is definitely the best. We usually travel with children this time just the two of us. It was perfect. Comfiest bed we’ve slept in. Great WiFi, warm, plenty of hot water to fill that fabulous bath ! Milk, butter and scones on arrival supplied by the fab host Linn. This house has everything you need, towels, lovely robes, toiletries, fully equipped kitchen etc. linn has thought of it all. Its location is also superb.

Our stay was 10/10 the host was lovely and was very happy to have us staying. I would recommend this place to anyone as it’s perfect for a night away The house itself is beautiful inside and out Definitely the best air bnb I’ve ever stayed in

Nothing could have been better it was perfect

Beautiful little building settled amongst the hills and valleys of county Down, on a quiet road lined with trees. The owners are a friendly, lovely couple (with equally charming dogs), they have furnished the rooms with great taste and care! A converted farm building, it retains an authentic old countryside feel, while having all the modern comforts and conveniences one could desire. The stove was lit for us upon arrival and ample firewood provided. A large bath, wonderful warm bed, comfortable leather couches, an enormous smart TV, couldn’t have asked for anything more. We were welcomed and bid farewell most warmly, and hope to get to stay again someday, thank you.
