It is a SCAM do not book !! if you don't want to lose your money ! BEWARE!

My parents were supposed to stop at Quigley Buildings - 2 Bed House Wigan from 20th Dec to 29th. We have been scammed. It was not as advertised. The house was not adequate to host. No heating and no hot water, very unkept and dirty, the bedsheets looked used, the bathroom and toilet dirty and one of the shower doors was about to fall, making the shower unsafe to use. My parents are elderly with health issue therefore they simply could not stay at the property for the night, I had to take them at my place, and we struggled as I don't have the facilities to host them, then under Booking.com suggestion they had to find and to pay for another place where to stay. I contacted the owner multiple times they refused to give us any immediate help and the day after they stopped answering my messages. No one never rang me back to apologize. I have requested a refund, but I have both being ignored by the property owners and Booking. com who only initiate a compensation fee which I still have not received. The compensation fee was only of £168 whereas we spent in region of £700! I am absolutely disgusted no one is taking the accountability of what happened and that still on this day I have not been refunded the full amount spent, as my parents were scammed and literally had to flee the property due to the poor conditions, not to mention the stress they have been put through. In view of this,I really don't feel to recommend Booking.com to anyone else, as there is high risk to be scammed and to lose a large amount of money!

We did not get to stay at this property regarding a gas concern, we booked this property due to my mother in law being given 24-48 hours to live and asked for early book in, the lady offered an alternative and stated it was closer to the hospital which it wasn't. When we arrived at the second property, it was very damp dirty with water that was in the fridge it was not suitable for anybody, so we informed the booker who stated she would cancel and refund. We then scrambled for another property so we could quickly get to the hospital. Unfortunately, my mother inlaw passes away, and we are grieving whilst chasing this woman for a refund after she blanked text and emails. I am very disappointed in the lack of empathy. Why accept a boking if there is a gas concern, especially when you are aware the boolers have 3 young children. I'm disappointed, may God bless this woman and give her better guidance,

Lounge area, bathroom and kitchen were clean and comfortable.

Was no credit on the meter so house was absolutely freezing. No towels in the bathroom. No instructions on how to get into the property. Beds were extremely uncomfortable with dirty bedding. Bedroom door was hanging off its hinges.

The bathroom was lovely, really enjoyed the clawfoot tub and the towel warmer (despite there being no towels??) Very comfortable couches. Close to the Asda express, which was incredibly handy.

There were no towels? And the owner never gave me a response about them, I had to buy my own. There were spider webs everywhere despite them saying they had cleaned before my arrival, I honestly could not tell. The bed was uncomfortable. There was no washer/dryer. There is a cellar door that had no lock on it, and the patio doors had no curtain. I also had multiple issues with the heating and power.

Disappointed to arrive to find some dirty pots in the sink. I immediately doubted the cleanliness however was ok.

Would not recommend to even a homeless person! Disgusting, filthy inhuman living, no plates, dirty beds, smelled of canniabis!, beds are just made not even washed used condoms left, cigarettes everywhere broken tiles, broken kettle nothing was abled to be used we left after our second night! Absolutely disgusting place. It was like a druggie house! Don’t bother booking no reply! Don’t bother with booking.com

Staff asked not to stay again. Food remains on plates that were in cupboards. Generally very poor.

Very stylish and cool interior with very cosy living room and a fully equipped kitchen. 2 spacious bedrooms to accomodate 3 + 2 people. Key handover very easy by code information by phone

Liter in the front yard. Wifi password not available. No TV reception. Matress was not very comfortable
