Excellent location, very spacious, comfortable sofas.

The location is outstanding! It is right in the buzzing city center but in a quiet courtyard. The communication prior to the stay was excellent. Upon arrival date, we were very kindly greeted by the host. The kitchen is very well equipped and they provided oil, salt, vinegar and pepper, as well as dishwasher tabs and washing liquid. Location in Grassmarket was perfect for a few days in Edinburgh. Ground floor unit was good however the ability to open windows for fresh air was difficult for security reasons. Facilities great with everything you need. Large unit for family holiday and guests of 6.

Staff from restaurant next door smoking in close and fish boxes - however recognise that this is part of the character of the location. Collection of keys from host was not easy - difficult with many instructions on contacting them 1 hour before arrival.

Location was excellent. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. It was really awesome being right in the middle of Edinburgh. Minutes walk from the royal mile, the castle, the train station and an endless list of places to eat or shop. The apartment was quite spacious, we had plenty of room for a family of four (mom, dad, two adult children ages 18 and 20). Everything was clean. There was lots of tea, sugar, and coffee. Having two bathrooms was awesome. We all really liked the place, it was a pretty cool spot. And it felt safe, as access to the close was behind a locked gate, and another gate at the entrance that wasn’t locked but would prevent passers-by from just wandering in.

There was a washer but no dryer, so our clothing was hung throughout the apartment to dry, some of which took a day or two in the damp weather. Maybe a laundry rack would be useful there to hang wet clothing. The second bedroom was really small, but it was not a big deal, there just wasn’t really any room to put any luggage without having to step over it. These things would not be a reason to prevent me from staying there again or recommending it to others. It did not affect our stay in a truly negative way.

Single beds a little hard / uncomfortable and sink plug in main bathroom would not raise

Great location on Victoria Street.

Beds were not comfortable. Late check in charge and check in needing a physical party to do so is unusual and troublesome.
