The key box was broken and couldn’t close it properly

was really good location hot tub was really good rooms really clean and tidy

shower needs attention and bed too but all good thanks

Fabulous hot tub and amazing views. The cottage was comfortable and warm.

The key code on the gate to access the property didn't work the second time we tried to leave the cottage. A good job the caretaker turned up to help. We had to leave the gate open all week. Access to the hot tub is up the stairs and out of the front door. This is not made apparent in the description and very disappointing.No robes provided. This would be ok in the summer maybe but not in winter. The shower needs attention.unable to isolate the rainfall shower without the power head also being on. No soap dish . No side storage inside fridge , cooker nobs are old and temperature has worn off so unable to regulate oven temperature. Just small issues but considering this is classed as luxury accommodation with a price tag to match, they need addressing.

Truly excellent stay at Esk Cottage. I’ve been coming to Whitby since I was a child, and this was by far the loveliest stay that I’ve had. The bed is lovely and comfy, the cottage itself is very clean, and of course the hot tub is the best part!
