Lovely apartment - very close to town in a very quiet area

Decking and outdoor furniture hadn’t been cleaned

Key lock box didn’t lock and was open when we arrived, we called the ‘owners’ though and she was very helpful. Very minor point but the clocks need batteries replacing as none worked

Nicely decorated comfortable apparent. All we needed for a short sightseeing trip to Northumberland.

Couldn’t get the back door open for some reason - only opened an inch or so. Not sure if it was just me but I tried for some time. Felt slightly unsafe from a fire escape point of view. The meter box/boxed in pipes in the stairwell is sharp and dangerously positioned. I gave myself a bad knock on the corner of the box and was dazed. I still have a painful head. The box needs to be moved or at least have the corners padded. I am reasonably tall but no more than 6 ft. It could have done me some serious damage. I will not have been the first person to walk into that.

Great location and lovely warm place with great heating system. Kitchen is spacious and very well equipped

I didn’t think it was made really clear on the listing that this was a first floor flat - I would expect the listing to say that really clearly. TV - there was no ability to watch catch up services like iPlayer or access our own Netflix etc

Sofa and lounge carpet were badly stained and double bed needed tightening. I think the description of 'luxury' does not describe the property accurately.
