Edinburgh Mews Apartment

It’s as advertised. Clean, accessible. Also situated along a very quaint street.

The apartment was very comfortable, was a great location, with plenty of room. It helped feel more part of the city. The beds were comfortable and the host left us with some snacks and a lot of information regarding local recommendations.

Very clean apartment. Lovely, quiet location. Close to shops and sights. Beds comfotable. Enjoyed stay. Would recommend.

Downstairs toilet not flushing. Staff responded to concerns.

The appliances (lots of them) in the apartment were all functioning, comfortable, and easily accessible on both floors. Charming views from each window, for a prime location regarding the apartment.

The control panel for the heating couldn't be changed (or I just didn't understand how to), some dust here and there, but that's being tedious. Something to know - lots of tourists taking pictures here.

Lovely comfortable place in a gorgeous area. Great location and had some really nice pubs and restaurants nearby.

We couldn't access the garden, which was advertised when I booked. The downstairs bedroom gets a bit musty because you can't keep the windows open without putting something there to hold them open. The shower upstairs doesn't have a post so you have to hold it whilst showering and there is no curtain so water goes everywhere. You had to take your rubbish and recycling up the road. No council bins at the house.

Convenient

For a mature couple, the bath upstairs was hard to have a shower, dangerous at times. The hair dryer upstairs was dirty and sticky.

Location was great and a short walk from City Centre. Stockbridge is an excellent location with lots of local amenities. Very familiar with the area as I had live in Edinburgh before. Lots of options for food/entertainment and staff at agency very helpful for things to do/see while visiting.

We enjoyed the location very much.

I would have liked to be able to use the garden but access to it was locked.

This flat was perfect for our family of three. The winding path of adorable houses on Circus Lane are so picturesque. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and even included milk, tea and coffee. The water pressure in the shower was wonderful. Stockbridge has many restaurants, shops and grocery stores but is also very closely located to the busier parts of Edinburgh. We used public transit for our weekend and the stops were just around the corner from the flat. The price was surprisingly affordable for peak Summer in Edinburgh. In fact it was at least £150 less than anything else I could find, but did not lack in value. I can only recommend Edinburgh Mews Apartment.

It was a bit too warm as the radiator heating kept coming on despite us turning the temp down. All the windows open though, so a nice evening breeze cooled it right down.
