Studio at Bastion Mews

Smart, well maintained and comfrotable accommodation in the centre of Hereford. Handy for the station which allowed us to include a visit to Worcester, also just a stroll away from various sites Hereford has to offer such as the cathedral. It made a perfect base for our city break, visiting at the beginning of the week we had no issues with noise that was mentioned in other reviews.

Could be a bit better equipped in the kitchen area, but we mainly ate out.

Excellently located yet quiet and fabulously equipped with everything you need for a stay of 1 night to 1 month. The apartment was absolutely spotless too. Instructions for collecting the keys were straightforward and timely, and the host was great. Nice thoughtful touches provided in the room too, like tea, coffee, sugar, condiments etc. A very comfortable apartment!

Not the property's fault but there's no parking with the apartment. There are pay & display car parks close by though and limited-stay disabled parking outside.

The studio was really well equipped and very nicely designed. It had everything you could need and was really handy for the town centre.

The noise from the street was horrendous as there are many bars/pubs that are very close. It was a very warm night and so we made the mistake of having a window open a bit. The windows, when closed do give a lot of sound proofing and there is a fan to cool things down. However even with ear plugs in this was still a noisy place to stay.

Perfect location. Very well presented studio. Very clean.

Super nice, plush, everything we needed

Didn’t realise there is a busy bar, and a nightclub (which is open 7 days a week!) right over the road. We stayed sat and sun night. Saturday night was a bit of a shock. We had a gentle day, and headed back to the apartment early evening, to have some food, watch a film and relax.. Incredibly noisy street life, and awful people screaming and messing about outside till probably 4am (it seems to be the main place in Hereford for takeaway food too, with people coming and going, parking cars on the road below). Fortunately Sunday night was quieter otherwise it would have upset our weekend (late 30s couple looking for a quiet weekend away in what we thought a quiet historic market town)

Property was as advertised.

It is opposite a pub and the noise level from surrounding flats and outside was completely unaceptable. I could not sleep even with earplugs supplied by venue who clearly are aware of this situation.
