The only positives about the property were the central location and the fact our unofficial deposit was returned

Everything through all rooms was caked in mould and grime. Furniture was not as pictured there was crisps and a fake eyelash in plain sight. There were actually signs stating that short term rentals/ air bnb use is strictly prohibited. The oven did not work and basic safety measures such as the fire alarm were neglected and missing

One of the most horrible places to stay. They gave us a completely different flat can’t even be close with the pictures from the one we’ve chosen. Everywhere was so dirty, mouldy . Bedding haven’t been changed for years. Kids were petrified about this flat. My sisters came to visit from Lithuania and this is how they will think uk renting looks like

hard to get into the building as you have to wait for other people to enter in and out, lots of marks on basically everything inside the property, charged a damage deposit, which i was not made aware of before booking, i was told i would receive the deposit back, which i didn’t, until i had to message the owner of property, who told me they had been busy and it had slipped their mind, however this place wasn’t a scam, but it does feel very dodgy, the owner met us inside the property and she was quite kind, but she was very rushed and made us aware more than once to not leave the lights or any heating on. i understand saving money with that but it seemed quite over the top and more like a telling off

Just wished that the toilet water could be drain better. Other than that we enjoyed our stay here.
