Newly Reno'd 2 Bed with Free Parking

The location was just about perfect being within a short walk of the Royal Mile and Holyrood with the added bonus of parking right beside the apartment. The upside down arrangement worked and provided some lovely views from the upstairs windows.

Emplacement parfait pour visiter Édimbourg. La place de parking est très appréciable. La maison est très bien pour 4 personnes. La literie est confortable.

La maison est située sur le bord de la route pavée, on entend les voitures mais avec des protections auditives on dort très bien.

We liked the location of this property with the proximity to transportation and a calmer part of the old city. We liked that it had two bedrooms, laundry and a kitchen.

We didn’t realize that the bedrooms are street level and next to a very busy street. Since it is an older property, there was no AC, so leaving the windows open was preferred, but people walking by could literally reach inside, so we ended up closing them and sweating it out. It was a bit better if you opened the bedroom door and had a bit of a cross breeze, but it was still very loud until around 11 pm and starting at about 6 am. Also to note, the water heater is in the closet next to the bed in the bedroom on the left and it sounds like birds chirping all night.

Mooi appartement met een ruime woonkamer en keuken op goede loopafstand van het centrum. Eigen parkeerplaats aanwezig op de binnenplaats.

Slaapkamers hebben weinig opbergruimte voor kleding en liggen direct aan de straat. De straat is niet heel druk maar met raam open slapen ging echt niet. Het bed was vrij smal en hard. Toen wij aankwamen was de ijskast en vriezer uit en deze stonk enorm. Wij hebben alles aangezet maar de stank bleef dus wij hebben de ijskast helaas niet kunnen gebruiken. Ik heb hierover meteen een bericht gestuurd naar de verhuurder maar nooit een antwoord gekregen.

Sehr gute Lage, alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zi Fuss erreichbar und für Auto hat man guten Parkplatz. Wohnung gut ausgestattet. Alles hat gut funktioniert. Wir würden wieder hierher kommen, falls wir nochmals nach Edinburgh reisen.

De locatie is geweldig, heel centraal en toch rustig.

Extra mogelijkheden om kleding op te bergen. Er was wel grote kast maar slechts enkele hangers waardoor we de kleding in de koffer hebben gelaten.

The combo washing/drying machine took 5 hours for one load.

Good location, within walking distance to the Royal Mile, attractions, and pubs. It was very convenient to have a private parking spot. The house was spacious, the rooms were comfortable, and the bathroom was nicely remodeled. Easy check in and check out. The host responded very quickly to questions.

There was some mold on the wall in one of the bedroom closets. The floors by the baseboards and closet door tracks were not cleaned well. The road noise is pretty loud, but didn’t bother us. It’s right on a cobblestone road.
