Die Ausstattung und Sauberkeit wahren hervorragend, die Lage ist mega um die Stadt zu fuß zu Erkunden.

Stayed in this apartment before for the Fringe Festival. The location is perfect. So central but quiet for a good night sleep! The kitchen is great and has everything you need and the bathroom is excellent too.

It was a lovely apartment, great location and fabulous communication from the owners.

The hot water system in the shower needs attention. The temperature fluctuated between scorching and freezing without touching it.

Die Einrichtung ist schön und zweckmäßig, aber „newly reno‘d“ stimmt in 08/2025 definitiv nicht mehr ;-) einige Gebrauchsspuren, zB ausgebrochene Ecke am Kochfeld, tiefe Kratzer und Löcher im Tisch, wacklige (weil misshandelte) Fenstergriffe. Die Lage ist super, Check-in/out unkompliziert, für eine Rückfrage war der Vermieter per Mail zu erreichen und hat auch schnell reagiert (die Schnur fürs Licht im Bad ist uns komplett entgangen)

Der Verkehr rumpelt dank des Kopfsteinpflasters in der Calton Road quasi direkt durchs Schlafzimmer. Die Betten sind schmal und kurz! Der Wasserboiler im Kasten des linken Schlafzimmers hat leider einige Male in der Nacht laut gepfiffen. Eine dritte Rolle Klopapier wäre angesichts des Preises nett gewesen.

No in-person contact with hosts. I would not recommend this place to stay with family for international travelers. It is an ideal place for local tourists with a car, especially for groups of friends rather than families.

The apartment was very clean, with all the amenities you might need in an apartment. Hot water worked well, dishwasher and washing machine as well. Location was also really good and accessible. The owner was responsive and all the instructions were clear.

Not a major problem but it would be nice to have more cutlery, kitchen cloths (only one), tissue paper (none). With 4 people in the apartment we seemed to regularly be looking for these items.

Location was very good. And floor plan itself good
