Chic & bright flat near Holyrood Park

We loved the location a lot, and liked the wash machine and kitchen. The beds were comfortable, and the wifi worked well.

Good location, either 20 minute walk from town or a short bus ride. Plenty of room for the two of us and the bed was big and comfy.

The first door was a bit hard to open.

Great location, close enough to everything but quiet enough for a good nights rest. I thought it would be more of a studio style apartment based on the photos, but was pleasantly surprised that it was more spacious than expected.

The host was amazing and offered to meet in person if it was something I needed. The lock box worked perfectly and getting into the flat was easy. We felt safe and secure in and around the flat. It was a great location for the local sights but also far enough away that we didn't need to listen to street noise or neighbors. The host also has a lot of spices, sugar, tea, coffee, cups, pots, pans, etc. so that you could buy groceries and live cheaper during your visit.

The guest book was out of pages and we hope they provide a new one for the next time we are there. Also the bed is elevated and the first night I feared I would roll to my impending death. All good after the first night though. I am thankful that I don't roll in my sleep. There are two couches that turn into beds if you don't feel comfortable sleeping in the elevated bed.

The apartment itself was clean, had good amenities! It was close enough to the centre but still a 25 minute walk to most things.

The whole building smells like smoke really badly , so does the apartment because of that unfortunately. The loft bed is very high with no rail, so make sure you are ok with heights. I slept on the sofa instead and it was comfy.

Small but well equipped apartment with easy walking access to all central Edinburgh attractions.
