The Hideaway

Good location within a pretty village and opposite a pub which does excellent food. The apartment is spacious and the kitchen well equipped.

I marked it down due to the shower needing a deepclean of the grout etc. There was also mildew around the kitchen window. Both could easily be resolved and would make for a better initial impression as you arrive. Fortunately there were some cleaning fluids in a cupboard so I cleaned the shower as best I could before use.

Excellent location. Helpful hosts. Super comfy bed. Easy to control heating and plenty of hot water. Spacious apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Thoughtful welcome pack with milk in the fridge too!

Shower a little awkward for tall person and starting to look a little tired. No wood for log burner so couldn’t use it our 1st night as we arrived after the village shop shut.

Property was so well equipped (kitchen utensils, pots and pans, Smart TV, Bose speaker, LOVELY big bath). Perfect for two people. Bed was super comfy and village was gorgeous.

Nothing! Only thing I did miss was a full length mirror but that's just personal preference!

Charming nature of the property.

Shower gel would have been handy as we didn’t expect to need our own.
