The Hideaway

it was really cosy. the welcome pack was fantastic. super fridge, very good WiFi. the location far exceeded my expectations with the pub across the road where we ate twice. loved the bed & quality of the bedding.

was perfect for a short stay.

I'd like an option to check out a little later to make the most of the cafe for breakfast. Mark did sort that. But 11am check out would be perfect

The hideaway is my favourite place to stay when visiting friends nearby . this is a wonderful property tastefully decorated with quality interiors The hideaway is in a quaint village with a few places to eat (dabbling duck / cartshed )with local produce a shop/post office wonderful tearoom Nice thought to leave milk quality coffee tea items and yummy biscuits Also try the cheese twists from the shop underneath The village is close to many beautiful walks and short drive to beaches The hosts are always on hand with any queries and are very accommodating I will ways choose to stay at the hideaway

Everything was spot on!

Quirky, well equipped character apartment right in the middle of a picture postcard village. That it was dog friendly, with lovely wooden floors, own private entrance, and plenty of green spaces literally on the doorstep, was a real bonus!

Lovely location overlooking the village green with great pub across the road, tea room next door & village shop downstairs that sold a good variety of goods. The apartment was fantastic, it literally had everything you could possibly need in the small well equipped quality kitchen from cooking a roast to a simple supper, the owners have thought of everything! Great welcome tray too. The living room was large & bright, comfy sofa, leather chair & footstool, with a cosy log burner for those cooler nights plus radiators in every room & smart TV. Some games & handy local guides / info too. The bathroom was gorgeous with a huge freestanding bath & separate shower, fluffy towels & good quality toilet paper! The bedroom is great, large super comfy bed & another smart TV. The owners were super friendly, clear helpful instructions for access & quick to respond. Great parking at apartment & central location for seeing the area & easy to get around. A hidden gem & wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
