The Hideaway

Location was perfect for our celebratory meal and music at the local pub, good village shop and cafe. Local people very friendly. Easy to get to the coast and RSPB sites. The Hideaway was very clean, well furnished and the bed very comfortable. Kitchen small but had everything you could possibly require with modern equipment. The log fire was a bonus and the electric heating easy to control. Welcome tray of treats and milk was gratefully received along with the complimentary breakfast due to the building works taking place in the adjoining building.

this was my third time in this wonderful relaxing space the owners have thought of everything Set in an idyllic village with a superb pub/ restaurant right across the road 👌 will.always return when visiting friends near by

Owners allowed us an early check in which was really accommodating but due to unforeseen circumstances on the day we was late. Fantastic communication from owners regarding arrival instruction which was fab after a long journey. I do have a couple of negatives sadly, however, I would not let these out weigh the positive and stop me from returning. The property was well equipped, beautiful decor/furnishings especially the bedroom which may just add was super comfortable. Some beautiful features to the property. Beautiful little village, you won’t be disappointed! The negatives- house keeping. The property was not clean in my opinion. With a good clean this property would be spectacular! Bath had to be scrubbed before use as hadn’t been cleaned, sink was dirty, hand was covered in something like foundation, base of toilet filthy and hair everywhere. Kitchen full of crumbs everywhere. No bags in small bins. Was such a shame to have to clean prior to use. Plus side, beautifully clean bedding and towels! Feel awful stating that as the owners were so lovely but fingers crossed will take note and as I said in turn would make this place spectacular!

accommodation was very clean. nice to have milk on arrival after a long journey. location is nice and peaceful.

Quite compact but everything we needed.

First night was cold in bed needed extra blankets. Also base of bed very dusty. No teabags.
