The Folly

Beautiful accommodation, everything we needed for a weekend away.

Wasn't as clean as we would of liked. The garden area was unusable as it was so over grown. With a tidy up this place could be spectacular.

We did not stay , as we could nor get access to the property. Contacts that were given didnot respond. Had to book somewhere else,

No communication. Could not access the property !] Very disappointing.

Great location. Great view. Quiet.

Good directions provided by owner. Within walking distance of Ludlow town centre. Availablity of off road private parking. Lovely outlook, although view obscured by overgrown garden. Good base for a short stay for 2 people ( the advertised 3 would be a squeeze) Well equipped but no tea towel.

Everything felt a bit run down-dying houseplants, overgrown garden, no cushions for outdoor egg seats, an area of the decking obstructed by overhanging branches, damp smell in bedroom. Extra thick duvet smelt of other people's sweat. Felt like a goldfish bowl as The Folly is in close proximity to Kennet House which was occupied by other holiday-makers during our stay. No blinds for seating area and we kept all blinds in other areas closed for privacy. As others have mentioned seating is uncomfortable. Information pack outdated and wifi password barely legible.

The apartment was really well thought out, well appointed, and very comfortable. Good location and easy to get to. It was very clean and ideal for a couples short break.

Easy access, it had everything we needed, it was very clean and newly renovated!

Our towels had a few dirty marks and it was a little further from the town then we would’ve liked but perfect otherwise!

The damp smell throughout and the lack of cleanliness.No teatowels!oven and oven glove dirty.Kitchen sink not clean,lots of cobwebs and dust,bed linen didnt smell fresh,crunchy towels,top of toilet not clean.,damp on blind.It really could be a great place if more attention was paid to detail,such a pity.We are going to be frequent visitors to Ludlow but sadly not sure we’d book this again :(
