The mattress was comfortable, if extremely smelly.

When we entered the room we were hit by a wall of rancid tabaco smell mixed with putrid air freshener (which the owner had used to try and mask the tabaco smell). The room was advertised as a non-smoking room. All the pictures on Booking.com show the room as a non-smoking room with non-smoking signs on all the surfaces. In fact it states that the property is "non-smoking" throughout. This is a lie. My wife has allergies and found it very difficult to sleep. Everything reeked of tabaco: the upholstered bedhead and foot, the mattress, curtains, blinds and carpets, everything. Airing the room made no difference. We contacted the property owner Mrs Inga Romoli via Booking.com messaging, by email, by WhatsApp and by phone. To this day she has not replied to any of our messages. Booking.com have tried to reach her and have confirmed that they have not been able to. Booking.com have washed their hands of the matter. The property was misrepresented and mis-sold to us. Unless you like sleeping in an ashtray, avoid this property and it's unresponsive and irresponsible owner.

The property is nice, clean and in a very good location. Definitely recommend

On arrival I had problems with the coded front door entry system and was locked out. After a wait, the host managed to get someone to open the door from the inside.

Location....just over Folly Bridge...easy walk from station. Good price for Oxford. Well equipped and comfortable bed.

Very clean property and easy to gain access.

I barely slept at night . I had to open the windows due to heat and the movement of vehicles were not helpful. If you want to sleep request for a room away from the road.
