We liked the theme, the little additions that made it a realistic 70s experience and the location was brilliant! The kitchen facilities were good and the bathroom was modern and clean. Great TV facilities.
The constant smell of damp, peeling wallpaper (due to damp) and the lack of ventilation. The toilet seat was badly broken and some areas were dusty/cobwebby. The upstairs accommodation was large but the stairs were so steep and hard to negotiate- this was not mentioned in the write up. All in all, not great for anyone with mobility issues or chest problems.

It was such a unique apartment, weird and wonderful is the best way to describe it! Clean and comfortable, right inside the main city but tucked away so very quiet when needed. Absolutely loved it!

The apartment is located in the center of York and has a unique vintage style with really old equipment from 60's and 70's.
Practically all spaces are not devided. There are no seperqte rooms even the up floor ones can clearly hear the ground floor ones. This has been a little difficult for 5 people of 40+ age.

Dark to be honest i found it a bit creepy ouji boards , odd art on the wall was not really suitable myself and 2 yr granddaughter but an experience But I can see it been fun for ghost hunters 🤣

A very quirky place to stay right in the centre of York. Perfect for visiting all the city centre sights and for lying in bed and hearing the Minster bells.
It’s a very old property so be prepared for uneven floors, but they’re definitely part of the charm. The bath/shower combo could have been better. It’s a bit tricky to avoid getting water everywhere!!
