GBThe location is beyond excellent. The apartment is nice, quirky and clean. They are generous with toiletries and kitchen stuff. Ian was very responsive through messages.
We were in the Old Gallery apartment (the bigger one with 70s decor). There are two major issues, and I fear that both had to do with building two apartments in the space of one: 1. If there are hosts in the other apartment, get ready to become familiar with them. The walls are paper thin. Upstairs in particular you can hear a paper being folded in the other apartment. 2. The stairs to go to the upstairs part of the Old Gallery apartment are steep and, frankly, a bit dangerous. It is basically like climbing a ladder. People with mild mobility problems or of a certain age cannot use them. This should be clearly stated.
GBSo pretty and quirky. Great facilities totally more than we expected. Kitchen was great, coffee and milk and flowers were very thoughtful. Loved the little garden area and it was all exceptionally clean. Also really quiet despite being right in the middle of of York. We were sad to leave and will 100% be back as soon as we can.
Nothing.
GBGreat location, quirky decor and everything you need.
The handheld part of the shower didn’t work well

GBLocation is amazing! The view of the Minster from bed? Stunning! The place is so quirky and nicely decorated, spooky isn't for everyone but it suited us! It's an old apartment so don't expect easy access and level floors, it's authentic character!! Bed is so comfy! My friend said the bath was lovely and I found the shower has amazing pressure (got intimate with the curtains though as they fall in quite close). Any queries the staff answered and parking wasn't too far!
The white fire door made it a rather tight squeeze and a bit of a choke point. But a fire door is a fire door so this is more as a heads up to anyone wanting to stay than a complaint. If we could do it in full viking garb, so can many others!

GBLove the location, right in the centre of York city! We have stayed here before and would recommend staying here. It has a creepy haunted vibe which is the selling point and it fits the part well! Love it!
Not so much didn’t like but it was a bit awkward on arrival when we wanted to store out luggage in the shop and I had to manually put my information in to the computer behind the counter and there wasn't much space. The staff looked after us, and managed to let us leave our bags downstairs.
