Host & Stay - Starboard Bow

The property was well maintained and had plenty of cutlery, plates etc. It was very comfortable and homely and has amazing views from the windows.

It was very cold. Although the radiators were programmed the temperature in the apartment was too low.

The apartment is located in a quiet area within easy walking distance of Whitby’s shops, restaurants and attractions. It comes with safe, secure parking which is a bonus. The kitchen is well-equipped and the bed is comfortable. Another bonus is the fabulous views of Whitby harbour and Whitby Abbey.

The apartment was cold and we were unable to adjust the heating as the radiator controls were locked. I complained about this and was told the matter would be ‘escalated’ and dealt with but nothing was done. The bedroom was particularly cold and the radiator never seemed to come on. We were very disappointed that this issue was not dealt with during our stay. The bathroom (also cold but had heated towel rail) needs updating. Also, we only had 1 hand towel and 2 bath towels which is not really enough for a week’s stay.

No mattress cover on bed. Attention to detail on cleanliness.

Views were amazing. Location good, very close to pubs and restaurants but not close enough to hear any noise.Apartment was lovely and the bed was so comfy. Went on the steam train, recommend this trip it was great. The fish n chips were amazing and we found a lovely wee micro bar. Definitely go again. Bar is in the photos below

The location was exceptional, views were wonderful. Very relaxing.

Cleaning, cobwebs in the windows and spiders. Bath room dated.

Lovely flat clean and comfortable with beautiful views. Ten to fifteen minutes walk to the center of town. Car parking in private car park under the property. Has everything you need inside the flat. I would stay again.
