Grosvenor House APT 2

An excellent location on the seafront with spectacular views.

The views from this property are fantastic.

Nothing at all.

Did not stay at the four seasons Hotel but were due to stay in one of the Grosvenor apartments just down the street that are owned by the same terribly abusive aggressive owner. He called at 1pm to say the apartment was no longer available and offered a cottage 10 mins,by car, away from the town centre. I called him back 30 mins later to decline his offer and requested a refund. He started shouting and continued to shout, interrupt, swear and totally refused to give a refund. After a 13 min conversation he put the phone down on me!! His parting words were “I will never refund you” Have since discovered that he does this regularly!! Avoid at all costs. For a hotelier and business man to rant and shout in that manner to a paying customer is disgraceful. Wish I had read the trip advisor reviews before I booked.

Decor good. Nice surprise of an upgrade

Could have had more kitchen utensils. There was no slice to use to make fried eggs etc, which is prob why the frying pans were scratched. I was also surprised to find no welcome box of groceries at all. Some milk and bread would have been great. Nothing fancy.

On arrival on Thurs 1st, our group were not given our booked accommodation (5 beds ) and put into different Apt so never got to stay in Apt 2 Grosvenor Hse, reception were not aware of this this until I called on Fri to request a fifth bed as per our original booking, very disappointing on behalf of reception and booking.com!!!!! I feel we should be due a partial refund for Thursday 1st Sept as Booking.com and Accommodation did not fulfill our original booking.
