Booked and paid for a 3 bedroom apartment to sleep 5 and were put into a 2 bedroom apartment.

We travelled as a group of friends and stayed for one night. The apartment was much better than we expected. There was plenty of space for the 5 if us. Be aware that it is on the top floor- this was not a problem for us. It was a bank holiday weekend and parking was a problem. We called in at the Four seasons hotel to collect the key and they kindly directed us to a private parking space that they had in another property that they owned. We would recommend this property and would certainly return again.

At the beginning we could not find enough glasses and dishes but after searching we found that they were all in the dishwasher.

The property was very beautiful and clean! The location was excellent, with a view of the sea and the pier! The rooms were beautifully decorated and there was plenty of natural light in the house!

Even though we really loved the place and enjoyed it even though it was just for a night we were really disappointed with the fact that the staff was very rude! From the moment we met with a member of staff to check in and get our keys we weren’t even allowed to finish our sentence! I wanted to ask if it was alright to leave our belongings at the reception since we arrived slightly early and the lady at the reception rudely interrupted me and very ironically said that I should let her do her job!

Parking is a bit tricky

The apartment seemed newly refurbished to a very good standard. It was warm, clean, comfortable and had a fabulous view of the promenade and sea. There was even a giant hot tub that we did not know about so, unfortunately, could not use as we did not take bathing suits. Although there is no parking, there is a pull in to unload and load your suitcases etc. We would have been very happy to stay for a week or two, it was so nice and had everything you could possibly need in a home from home.

The directions/address was misleading as it states no. 54 Terrace Rd, which is not correct. Fortunately, the hotel where we picked up the keys helped us locate the right address. There wasn’t anything we did not like really. I felt my pillows were a bit lumpy and cheap but I do not know if this was for all the beds. I would suggest a couple of additions for the en suite bathroom, a blind for privacy at the window plus some hooks on the walls either side of the shower would be useful to hang towels up. There is a lot of wall space and it is a very big bathroom, so this should not be an issue.
