The location of the flat was perfect. Slept well.

Unforcently the way the flat was present in the way of cleaning was not great. Dusty , cobwebs, I had to pull the plug out of the shower as the water wasn't going down and I threw up due to the hair. T.v stand had hand prints on. Inside the shower needed a clean. Sharp plastic on top of fridge. Flat needs a deep clean.

Perfect location close to all amenities very clean

Didn't realise top floor narrow steps lack of cutlery had to buy table spoons and hand towels TV had subtitles which we couldn't remove no instructions for TV 1 pillow each.

Catering equipment was basic, no sharp knife so unable to cut bread etc. only one huge frying pan

We've stayed at these apartments several times and always find them comfortable and excellent value for money. The big plus is their location, close to the shops and the sea front. Any issues we had on this visit were addressed very promptly by the owner, who we have always found helpful and easy to get hold of in an emergency. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Great Yarmouth.

The neighbourhood in general is quite shabby and run down. We don't mind because we are familiar with the area and the location works well for us. We also don't drive so parking is never an issue, but I imagine it easily could be. The only issue we do have is the seagulls that nest nearby and seem to squawk all day and all night long. I am a huge champion for wildlife and the seaside without seagulls would just be wrong but, ear plugs are a must for a good night's sleep during seagull nesting season, especially if it's hot and the windows are open.

The whole place was filthy. We did a deep clean as soon as we got there. When we walked into the apartment, it smelt awful. There was a washing machine that was full of mould and did not work. The fridge freezer was dirty and smelly The microwave was disgusting, and when I opened the oven, it was next level disgusting. The shower was full of mould and behind the sink, and the toilet it was thick with dirt. The locks on the windows in the back bedroom were missing, so the windows could not be opened. When I moved the sofas and the beds to sweep under them, there was old smoked cigarettes, rubbish, and thick dirt under them. We are charged a cleaning fee to do our own cleaning!!! When we woke up the first morning, my partner and daughter had bites all over them, we tried to ring the owner but got no answer, so we rang booking.com who were no help at all. We went and brought bed bug spray and took the bedding to the laundrette as we did not want to cut the hoilday short for the kids. It worked for one night, and then the bites were back. The final straw was when we came back from being out all day, and we saw a RAT running across the room. We rang the owner back, and he was very rude and laughed when we said there was a RAT and asked to see a picture, which was hard as the RAT ran under the fridge, freezer. We left early the next morning. We did get a refund for the days we did not stay there, but the whole experience has been horrible and very upsetting. I ADVISE KNOW ONE TO STAY HERE. Location was good as it was so close to everything you needed. The apartment was a really good size. Good bed but could do with more pillows. Like the fact of having a virtual permit for parking.

The cleanliness of it wasn't great. The shower was grubby. The floors throughout the apartment were filthy, our feet and socks were nearly black!! It felt like everything needed a really good scrub and some TLC. It was cheaper than other places.
