Position, parking quietness, cleanliness.

Rather soft bed as we prefer harder type.

Beautiful location,though a little hard to find at first. Amazing views from the rear garden. Very quiet apart from the birdsong and watching the robotic lawnmower doing its job was mesmerising.

The only slightly annoying thing was the toilet seat that wouldn't stay up,& had to hold onto it all the time!

Location, peaceful and quiet, well off the beaten track. Easy access to outdoor activities, walking & cycling on the Traka Trail led us to some favoured locations, new & old!

Weather was cooler than expected for this time of year!

- splendid location, very peaceful and private - everything is high-quality, can easily tell how much thought and effort has been put into creating this place - Mary was very helpful with directions and very welcoming - the heating system is amazing (the best we've come across in North Devon!) - the 'Welcome' prosecco was such a lovely surprise!

- the logs wouldn't fit in the wood burner, would have been helpful if they were cut in half (or tool provided). In all fairness, we managed as they were, so not a negative, just a suggestion for improvement ☺️

A comfortable, cosy and peaceful little cottage. Lovely gardens and view. The log burner was great. Highly recommended.

Lovely views, quiet

An exceptional property. Very clean and comfortable. Good quality crockery, glasses, cutlery and a combination oven that worked very well. Lots of hot water and toiletries, plus good quality towels. It’s in a lovely location with a beautiful view over the surrounding countryside from the patio doors. Patio furniture is also provided but I did not use it. Underfloor heating in the living area and an oil filled heater in the bedroom, both of which were more than enough in October. There is also a wood burner but I did not need to use it. Very handy for the Tarka Trail, which was my reason for booking the property. I would highly recommend a stay at The Potting She’d.
