Ocean Villas

Fantastic location... view from living room (through french doors that can be opened) on St. Michael's mount... as fantastic as advertised. The path to the mount starts only 100 meters away. We stayed at the ground floor appartment : fine beds, 2 fine bathrooms and an extremely well equiped kitchen (also including washing machine and dryer). The couch in the living room made up for a large extra bed for our son. A well equiped house with a fantastic view.

Parking! Renting the ground floor appartement we did not have a parking place for our car (that place was reserved for the upper floor appartment). Being there in low season I could find a spot (free of charge from 18:00 hours till 09:00) nearby but there are almost no parking places in town. The short (150m) and long term parking (600 meters) places are nearby but for as far as I know it's 24 hours payments and limited durations... in other words: parking stress. However, to load and unload the car in front of the appartment is no problem whatsoever (no stress, take your time, you're not blocking traffic).

We loved our stay in Ocean Villa 2, staying for 3 nights just after easter. We travelled as a family of 4 with two young kids (aged 3 and 4) - apartment was just perfect for us - really spacious, location OUTSTANDING with gorgeous views of the mount. Every little detail for our comfort provided for - from the comfiest beds to the fluffiest towels, hot showers, beautiful shampoo etc. The apartment was very clean. We will return and hopefully book both apartments at the same time so that relatives or friends can stay in the one below.

The only very small thing was that the front access doorway was cramped - if there was any way to build a porch so that wet gear could be left in it that would be amazing but this is such a small thing in comparison to everything else which was WONDERFUL - thank you so much to the hosts.

The property is perfect for a family holiday in this part of Cornwall. The views are stunning and the flat is extremely spacious and well equipped. local restaurants were all brilliant. highly recommended!

We totally fell in love with 1 and 2 Ocean Villas. We were a family group of 7 adults, a toddler and furry friends. It was the best equipped holiday property we've ever stayed in. The kitchen(s) have everything you could ever need and so much more. Self-catering for a large, hungry family was a breeze. We were there in December during an unusually cold snap but the house was so warm and comfortable. The owners clearly love their second home and this is obvious in all the decor and presentation. The photos really don't do it justice; it looks great in the photos but is so much lovelier in reality and it is incredibly spacious (the overall square-footage is impressive). And the location right opposite the vast sandy beach and overlooking the iconic St Michael's Mount is simply sensational! There are cosy pubs, restaurants and some shops right on the doorstep. It worked so well for us having the two separate apartments; the little family with the toddler stayed downstairs in their own space and the rest of us stayed upstairs in the spacious double-storey apartment. We all ate together downstairs in the large kitchen diner. Ocean Villas could not have been more perfect for our family group. We're already looking forward our next stay!

I truly can't think of anything. It was the perfect holiday home from home.

It’s a really nice place, clean and has everything you need. You can’t ask for a better location. The parking situation is not great but they’ll help you with that.
