The apartment was very close to the pier and restaurants .The host ( Stewart ) was very helpful and understanding when we caused a mishap. would certainly recommend to those who prefer an apartment to an hotel..

Nothing but would be great if mirrors could be put in bedrooms as nowhere with mirror to dry hair.

Apartment No. 6 consists of two floors, clean and furnished with everything the family needs. While you are on the ground floor, through the window you can see the seafront as well as Eastbourne Pier. The location of the apartment is excellent, close to restaurants, cafes and shopping stores as well as the cliffs overlooking the beach. I thank both Steward and Venny. Thank you for their interest and I recommend staying there

Lovely property, extremely clean, beds comfortable, warm, homely, had everything we needed.

Very friendly contact. When we arrived we were welcomed at the property with the key and a tour of the property, no waiting or searching whatsoever. The property was bigger than we expected, we were especially positively surprised by the size of the living room. There were also some toys for kids which were appreciated. We also received parking permits to use on the days we were there which was very kind - parking is a bit tricky as it is quite busy and basically next to the beach. We managed to find two spots for our cars and did most of our sightseeing by foot after that! The location was AMAZING! We walked for 2 or 3 minutes to the waterfront at midnight to look at the fireworks on new years night. Magical. Running at the promenade next to the sea, arcade games at the pier with the kids, fish and chips nearby, visiting windy Beachy Head - I almost want to go back already. Overall a lovely stay and we will keep this property in mind when returning to Eastbourne.

In the description a fireplace is mentioned and it is visible in the photos. This fireplace is not functional, unfortunately. It seems that it is not allowed to use one in Eastbourne - we were looking forward to a warm fire with the stormy weather but it is what it is. The shower upstairs had a mind of its own and kept switching to hot and cold, so we ended up using the downstairs one with everyone.

Great location. Lots of good things about this flat: the location, the size and number pf bedrooms, two loos, decent size kitchen. Very helpful owner, nice extra in the fridge for Christmas and help with parking.

Shower pressure on first floor insufficient, but to be expected with the age of building, downstairs was great. Strangely no washing up sponge or cloth to wipe down and since it was a bank holiday no way to buy.
