"Weekend stay with friends"

Fantastic price and amazing location minutes away from York Minster and the city centre Host had left bread, milk, crumpets, butter, tea, coffee and other basics ready for our stay which was welcome after a few hours of driving The apartment was clean and comfortable and clear instructions and communication were provided by Seb the host, who was lovely Would definitely stay here again!!

If you're a light sleeper, you may need ear plugs. There was traffic noise from outside and because the building is old, noises from creaking floorboards and the boiler but this is no way affected the enjoyment of our stay

It was a great location, nice touch with bread, milk etc, that was handy. Friendly helpful landlord And the addition of games, books, films etc was a great idea

It was all very good, I don’t think you could improve on anything

Great location, handy for getting into the centre. Welcome pack appreciated and not always supplied

Not a dislike but some attention to detail needed ie lightbulbs out, no shower gel, tatty towel in bathroom

"Super stay in an excellent location!"

Excellent location in city centre, and having a parking space was a huge bonus. Very helpful and friendly host who communicated regularly and answered all questions promptly. Detailed instructions for how to find the location were really appreciated too. Cakes, bread and milk were a lovely surprise on arrival and the ability to control the heating was great.

Only comment would be that perishable food (eg margarine) should be discarded after each stay for hygiene and allergy reasons.

Location. Charm Host very good connecting with us as location was a bit tricky to navigate. With his directions we had no trouble.

Double bed in upper level needs to be replaced. Very uncomfortable.
